Spooky Shroomie NFTs — Support Mushroom Causes, Create the Strange in the World, and Upcoming Utility

We suspect those who are called to summon Spooky Shroomies are the unique thinkers and instigators in the world — bringing about change and transformation. They’re also strange and probably create a lot of memes.

No one knows their mysterious origins for sure —but we do know they’re here to shake things up.

What do Spooky Shroomies do?

Spooky Shroomies are a muti-use token with voting and minting pass rights created by three passionate friends who got their start together helping work on and launch Ether Orcs. Shroomies grant their holder access to place votes on utility and mechanics of the upcoming projects — as well as acting as a free/whitelist minting pass to upcoming on-chain projects, voting on DAOs, Voting on where community resources get put to work (and play!) in the world.

Let’s take a look at that in list form.

Shroomie Holders Can use Their Shroomie to:

>> Place votes on allocation of community wallet funds (To causes, weird projects, art experiences and more)
>> Print out pictures and show their mom what an NFT is
>> Place votes on upcoming DAO
>> Mint new team SHROOM projects for free/get on whitelist
>> Look super cool on Twitter and discord
>> Get access to airdrops and other community exclusives
>> Plus the first 1,000 minted Shroomies are “Genesis” Shroomies and get extra voting/staking bonuses

Shroomies are community driven

20% of all Shroomie Proceeds go directly into a community wallet that the community can vote on.

This community wallet funds things such as community events, contests, mushroom cause funding, in real life art projects and experiences, and other strange and wonderful experiences for all Shroomies and friends of Shroomies.

Shroomie purchases also support the whole team so we can keep creating experiences together — including the artists, devs, event creators, additional community contest funding and more!

First Shroomie move is to support MAPS which uses science to back psychedelic medicine and normalization.

Our favorite part of the fund is every Shroomie holder will get to place a vote on the helpful — and sometimes absurd ways — the funds can be used to create change in the world!

One of our first moves as a community is a starting $1k donation to the MAPS project. In the psychedelic space, it’s a well known organization that uses grants and other funding to back science-based studies that help show the positive effects of shrooms and more.

Why Get a Shroomie?

Well first off, just look at these amazing guys.

First and foremost, we’re a community of psychedelic enthusiasts. We want to see more people get access to the perspective shifts they need. And we like creating weird and hilarious things.

Shroomies also act as voting passes and minting passes for both the community fueled projects (Funded in part by the community wallet!) and for the upcoming utility token.

Of course, there’s also the joy of being in the community and being able to get your own Shroomie connected directly to you — and we’ve shuffled legendary Shroomies into the mint. These are 1/1 Shroomie art works that are unlike any other Shroomie (and come with their own perks.)

There will be a limited window to mint — then Shroomie minting will end.

Once the portal to summon (mint) is open, we will keep minting for a short period of time. After a certain time period, whether all Shroomies are minted or not, the void will close forever and any unminted Shroomies will be lost to the void — capping the total number of Shroomies.

Will Shroomies be Stakable?

At the moment, the current focus for Shroomies are voting and minting rights (With Ascended Genesis Shroomies having more weight.) That being said — Shroomies are very familiar with On-Chain mechanics ;)

Without revealing too much — The roadmap for the Shroomie community includes not just one — but several tokens that will have utility, staking, and gaming interactions within our ecosystem.

TLDR: Shroomie holders will get first and free access to our upcoming passive staking with daily earning.

What kind of projects will we be able to mint with Shroomies as our minting pass?

As mentioned, we have upcoming utility and free mints for all Shroomie holders. We want to walk the line between being able to make fun reveals, while also sharing reasons to get excited.

So here’s a peek at what you have to look forward to: In our work with Orcs, we’ve worked with some of the smartest devs and builders of the blockchain. We’re constantly discovering (and sometimes breaking) how things can interact on the blockchain.

Using these new discoveries, we’re setting forward to make a series of utility tokens that interact with each other in new and ambitious ways. We know this is a pretty big overall project — but we’re very keen on testing the limits of what can be done. Shroomies are a passionate cause of ours — and we wanted them to be the chip you hold when you want the first pass access to the new tokens, creation and game system. — Combined with the world of lore we have set up together, we are excited to share it all.

The Shroomies themselves were said to come from the Void, but that’s not all that lives or walks in the void… It seems something else is emerging… and it is interacting with the blockchain in new and unusual ways…

What are the timelines for all of this?

The team continues to work behind the scenes on the project since we started over a month ago. Shroomies are just our first step — and the perfect way for us to create and guide this community experience together.
